Possible Rules and By-Laws

For one I think we should follow closely to what the 501st and most of bigger Fan websites have as rules, regulations and by-laws. It might be a good idea to have a board somewhere just the Spokantina or higher "more Important" officers can chat.... Basically a place I dont have to always be careful, if you know what I mean.
It sounded like the Spokantina had a good solid idea of regulation, even though I destroyed that within the first two meetings : P
If we decide not to write up every detail we could sum the rest up with the "Ethics Violation" this idea comes from Gonzaga, thank you. This covers common sense issues and anything that may come up that no one originally thought of.

Well thats good to hear. If you want I can get a copy of the 501st rules and regulations and we can use that as a template?
Would it be possible to divide into smaller forums under the Solaris board? Like a prop section, a chatter section, ect.?
You probably already had that in mind and know how to do it but I thought I would ask.

Well, I was thinking about making other forums for props, costumes and such, leaving the Battlestar forums for local stuff, sort of like the Spokantina boards on TF.N

Looking into Spokantina's by-laws as well as those of the... "competition" so we can write up something nice and fancy. ^_^ I promise I'm doing my assigned homework, John!

I wonder when the next time y'all are meeting will be? I only really see John at game night, but it might be nice for us to all sit down together to come up with some forum rules and whatnot. Otherwise we can just discuss here.

He posted in the BSG thread I started, so he may be back in the loop now.
Also, IconFactory finally contacted me back and said they can't give us permission to use the icons :\ Though I know for a fact that other fan sites use them like crazy... and they even state in their email that they have no legal right to give permission to use them... so doesn't that mean that they also can't tell us not to? Since only Universal has that right?
Well, if nothing else, I can make knockoffs, it's not hard, and they'll look very similar... this just means more effort that I have to put into it :\
